After a few months of hard work, we are happy to announce the new, improved and secured version of Monthly Archive Joomla! Component & Module. The new version is served with a lot of features and many, high or low risk, bug fixes.
The Monthly Archive package has been re-written from scratch and is based on the most recent Joomla! MVC standards. Note that the version 4.0.0 of Monthly Archive is a major release and is not just a simple update release like the previous versions.
The Joomla! Project is proud to announce the release of Joomla! 3.7, the latest in the ‘Joomla! 3’ series. This new release features over 700 improvements to the popular CMS, including many features which make administration of Joomla! Web sites easier and more feature-rich, as well as several security updates.
One of the biggest new features of this release is the ability for administrators to add Custom Fields to your articles, users, and contacts, and the ability of extension developers to use this feature within their own custom Joomla! Extensions. With 15 different field types you can now easily structure more complex content entry systems to allow your content authors to easily enter their data in a standard manner and display it consistently to your site visitors. Thanks to our great documentation crew, you can find out all about the options and process for using this new feature when you read the Custom Fields tutorial on the Joomla! Documentation site.

Joomla! 3.6.5 is now available. This is a security release for the 3.x series of Joomla! which addresses three security vulnerabilities, miscellaneous security hardening and three bug fixes; no further changes have been made compared to the Joomla! 3.6.4 release. We strongly recommend that you update your sites.
After many requests from many Web357 subscribers, we decided to generate a unique download ID for all of your extensions. If you remember, you had one unique ID per subscription which means that if a subscription has expired should replace the ID at your extension parameters of each of your websites. This was a little crazy, but we've finally found an easy solution to have a unique download ID per subscriber.
As may of you asked about why the articles' links do not open inside the Monthly Archive we published the below cause.
First of all, let's see what Monthly Archive exactly does.
It provides a list of Joomla or K2 content divided into months and years. It is supplied with a lot of features and multiple parameters, improves user navigation and works as a search tool too. It is great for blogs, news portals, journalists, authors, speakers, and any other content based website.
Ok, let's see now what it doesn't.
It does not replace the core component of Joomla! (com_content) or K2, it only divides the content into months and years displayed with a title and a part of the full text of (intro text) and its image.
Hope the question has been clarified now because a lot of customers asked before.
Feel free to contact us anytime if you have similar questions or need any help with Monthly Archive component and module.
Joomla! 3.6.4 is now available. This is a security release for the 3.x series of Joomla! which addresses two critical security vulnerabilities and a bug fix for two-factor authentication. We strongly recommend that you update your sites immediately.
This release only contains the security fixes and bug fix; no other changes have been made compared to the Joomla! 3.6.3 release.
